Welcome to a brand-spanking new week, Lovelies! I hope the weekend has left you relaxed and refreshed (or at least with good memories of late night fun!) I’ve been roaming around LA, soaking up the warm weather, eating my way through every place on my (long, long) list, and doing some fun vintage shopping.

In other news, the above pictured Maxi Skirt is officially my new favorite piece! The color is purrrrfection, the flow & fabric is amazing, and it makes me feel elegant and flirty. What else could a girl want in a skirt??! I’ll be rocking this stunner with flats, as well as heels – dressed up and down – until Fall hits!

Does the typically drab Winter weather have you feeling a little blah? Trust me, I know how it feels – Chicago ~~can be~~ is a very grey and cold place during the Winter. So…while keeping that fact in mind, I absolutely don’t understand why so much of the Winter fashion tends to be a muted and dark mix of black, grey, black, brown, and some more grey. Why oh why??

Adding some unexpected pops of color to your wardrobe makes the cold Season so much more fun! Let’s bring some Summer light to our drastically shortened days, people!!
