Welcome to a brand-spanking new week, Lovelies! I hope the weekend has left you relaxed and refreshed (or at least with good memories of late night fun!) I’ve been roaming around LA, soaking up the warm weather, eating my way through every place on my (long, long) list, and doing some fun vintage shopping.

In other news, the above pictured Maxi Skirt is officially my new favorite piece! The color is purrrrfection, the flow & fabric is amazing, and it makes me feel elegant and flirty. What else could a girl want in a skirt??! I’ll be rocking this stunner with flats, as well as heels – dressed up and down – until Fall hits!

Home and Style {Retro Mint}

Miss Renaissance Home & Style Mint Barcart{Bar Cart – Amazon, Peplum Skirt – Topshop.}

The Bar Cart. Beautiful interior accessorie, mobile party friend… call it what you may, the bar cart is the kind of vintage-inspired piece of furniture that makes a room just a touch more special, dontcha think? I’ve been quietly combing the interwebs for just the perfect specimen, and I’ve settled on the above stunner. The color is perfect, the lines are clean, and it has just the right touch of detailing to make it special. It’s officially on my wish list (hint, hint.) As far as the above perfect Peplum Pencil Skirt goes – it’s versatile, on-trend, and under $70 – I’m sold! This baby will look super rad dressed up with some serious heels and a clutch, but it will also go the distance with a casual sandal and a jean jacket.

Weekly Color Inspiration {Neon Coral & Metallic}

Miss Renaissance Color Inspiration

{On all fingers, except index fingers – Essie Haute as Hello, On index fingers – OPI Designer the Better.}

Coral, it’s everywhere for Spring – and guess what?! I LOVE it!! I’m totally embracing this color, not only for Spring, but for Summer as well. This nail color by Essie is super bright and fun, and I love how it pairs with metallic hues. What do you think? Love it or not so sure about coral? Below are a few items I’m currently coveting in this particular shade. How hilarious and cute is that Rebecca Minkoff leather pouch!?!

Nice West Ankle Strap Heels

{Skirt – H&M (looks like it’s now sold out), T-Shirt – Club Monaco, Blazer – Aritzia, Shoes – Nine West, Sunglasses – Chanel, Necklace & Earrings – Vintage, Clutch – Bottega Veneta (old), Bracelets – J.Crew & Frieda and Nellie, Rings – Jewelmint.}

I’m all about skirts these days! I tend to go through phases of only wearing jeans/pants and then I suddenly switch to skirts…I think the sunny Spring weather may be to blame. This skirt/blazer combo is bright and fun, and the ankle strap heels just happen to be a perfect match. I love it when that happens! These heels are some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn in a loooong time (the easy price tag also didn’t hurt), I’m considering snatching them up in another fun color combo for Summer.

Snack Attack {Nutella Choco Muffins}

You know the feeling when an insatiable craving just comes over you and won’t let go?! Yeah….I had exactly that type of sudden craving attack last week – for chocolate-chocolate chip muffins. I’m generally not a big muffin person, but for some reason a perfect double chocolate muffin stands as the lone exception. I attempted to ignore my craving for about 2 days…and then I gave in (sigh.) This recipe is THE BOMB. The muffins are wonderfully chocolatey (the Nutella adds the right amount of extra decadence), but not overly sweet, and the vinegar acts as an extra leavening agent to make them nice and light while remaining moist on the inside. I have since devoured each and every muffin in this batch – and I’m craving some more!!
