{Pick up a basic mat and spray it with your desired base color – I chose a rosegold-metallic spray paint base.}
{Next, use sturdy painters’ tape to crate your shapes/design.}

{After a bit of drying time, gently remove the tape and VOILA! This baby is ready for use.}
{Isn’t she a cutie?!}

OMG where where where did you get that beautiful butterfly shadow box? I am in Chicago as well so if it is local, all the better! xoxo
I bought them (I have 2) from a company in Puerto Rico, actually. Here is their website: http://www.butterflypeople.com/buy_butterflies.htm
