Sometimes, even in the midst of Winter, a girl just wants to have some fun! So I thought to myself, “Why not blow up some balloons, put on an outfit with a sense of humor, and take a little Field Trip?!” Off to Chicago’s beautiful Field Museum we were! Thanks to a relatively mild & sunny day I was able to play with layers and keep my coat off most of the time. How do you keep your Winter interesting & fun? I’d love to hear your stories!

Winter is super tough. I’m dying for warm weather so I can spend time outside. I usually keep sane by making lots of dinner dates with friends. Though that can have a bad outcome by Spring…
Love the outfit!
Rebecca (hearts)…
I agree on the dinner dates…I’ve been eating out wayyy too much! Spring, please arrive soon!!
Those shoes are adorable!!! So glad it’s a little bit warmer this week… gives me a chance to break out my Spring wardrobe. Super cute. Balloons are an excellent touch, my dear!
Thanks so much! I had a blast with those balloons 🙂
These photos are so good they should be illegal! You look absolutely adorable.
P.S. Congrats on the Chicago Street Style feature!
Thanks so much, Nikia 🙂 It’s been a good day! Hope you’re having a good one, too!
For me, choosing a mecidal specialty is easy. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work as a Dermatologist Tech prior to moving to Alaska. What an amazing field! No two cases are the same and more than one type of procedure can be performed in a day. Working for a dermatologist provides the benefits of both a private office setting and hours along with the experience of surgeries and unique treatments. Cyst removals and cancer treatments became the most interesting procedures to me and I can not wait to get back into the field! There are not many positions or specialties I would turn down when it comes to the mecidal field. If I had to pick one, however, it would have to be gynecology. Why would this be the field I turn down? I am honestly not sure. I must be lacking the gene the would cause me to be interested in the subject! For whatever reason I would choose to work anywhere else before choosing gynecology. Specialty clinics are like sushi I guess. How do you know you don’t like it if you’ve never tried it?!
what i will do to apply this to my life is open my heart to the possiblity that after tnyrig to care 4 my siblings perhaps these same traits would make me a good caretaker in a family and perhaps i know deep down i am an excellent caring and sacrificing girl. maybe its time to admit it and show it to a guy. but right away?? that will be hard. im not a big risk taker, so now i will grow as a person n take this risk. i will leap. i will open up. i will show him that i am an excellent partner in family not just financially or emotionally .but as a caretaker who is muslim and would instill the best character in my kids. they would know their Islam just as my mother taught me. n i will be happy to express this to them since this is what i didnt know. but thanks to this webinar, n my implementating mindset im ready to do this. im ready 4 marriage inshA!!
