Currently Lunching at – LA Edition {Akasha}

{The Bright & Sunny entry to Akasha evokes a welcoming vibe. Once inside, the Front Room serves as a casual Coffee Bar/Bakery.}

{Once you enter the main Restaurant, Rustic Charm & Industrial Touches abound. The Wine selection, as you can see, is quite impressive.}

{First up, the incredibly fresh Grilled Chile Shrimp Salad. Tossed with Avocado, Cucumber, Feta, and Romaine in a Lemon Vinaigrette.}

{The Niman Ranch Beef Burger came out perfectly cooked & juicy. }

{The Simple Cookie Platter completely hit the spot! Perfectly soft & chewy Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip, and Ginger Snap delights.}

Akasha Richmond (Michael Jackson’s former private chef) truly created something unique when she opened her namesake restaurant in Culver City’s historic Hull building in 2008. Her organic, sustainable & farm-fresh approach to cooking is impressive and not to mention – delicious. Akasha is always one of my first stops for lunch or dinner when I visit Los Angeles. Try it for yourself sometime, you’ll see what I mean!
