Hello, my Lovelies! I hope everyone has transitioned back into “Reality”/Work Mode by now. The Holiday Season is truly over with (giant sniff), which could potentially lead to an empty & depressed Winter feeling….but NOT so fast!! First, let’s do a little bit of reminiscing, shall we? I’m super excited to share a bit about the incredible New Year’s Evening I had at Girl & The Goat this past Weekend. I’ve dined at Stephanie Izard’s Temple of Deliciousness many times, but this truly was a special evening.

We snagged seats at the 20-Person “Underground” 5-Course Dinner – held in an intimate Private Dining Room below the main Restaurant. As you can see in the pictures above, the dishes were mind-blowingly beautiful and, of course, deliciously executed. Each course came with its own Wine Pairing…which helped the Crowd get to know each other and exchange various food stories. Chef Izard came by to introduce each individual dish, which made the event feel very special and personalized.

After thoroughly enjoying our decadent courses, we headed upstairs to the main restaurant to party a little more casually. The vibe was positive and fun – the open kitchen was working hard to continuously deliver small bites of goodies to the crowd and several bars were pouring Champagne, Wine and Bespoke Cocktails. It never felt over-crowded, which was such a nice breath of fresh air in comparison to the usual over-stuffed New Year’s Events! What a fun way to ring in 2012! A big Thank You to Girl & The Goat for getting it Just Right!

Do you have a fun NYE Story to tell? I’d love to hear about it!

xo

      • For some reason tnhigot I was having pains between my bicep and tricep that was only hurting when I was pushing the weight up. So, to be safe, I decided to 45# because that is where I could find the comfort. I was able to do 55# for 2 sets of my 5, but it was just uncomfortable, so I dropped back down. I also did the cash out. That row ladder was wicked! I realized that by the time I was done with the WODs today that I rowed over 3500m. I went home drenched in sweat but felt great.Congrats to Beckie for the high 1RM and to Candice for the DU’s! You guys inspire me!

      • I am hoping to get my Healthcare Reimbursement ceatrficite so my interaction with patients would be very different from a CMA, but I think I would like to work in a Chiropractors office. I have back issues and know first hand how much of an improvement I feel after one adjustment. To be part of a team, where you were able to help someone, in a fairly short period of time, seems like it would also be very rewarding.

    • 147Ie28099m not sure if I agree with all of this. Then again, your article is very inovfmatire, and quite a large amount of people will walk away out of this post feeling moreeducated than when that they arrived. Overall, you have done a great job.

  3. Hi BrendanI am also awaiting your book with exeeitmcnt! I have been a commercial model for 2 years and have enjoyed it, I now want to move into film and television, I have drama school training (Central school) but went straight into commercial modelling as I just wanted to work- any suggestions how to move and change into it? Ive tried the normal way of approaching and writing to an agent but feel it gets lost with all the applicants- as is inviting them to see me in some plays/screenings I have been in, Thanks for your help!! • This kind of layout is acltualy breathtaking! You certainly understand how to keep a reader interested. Between your sense of humor along with your movies, We has been nearly moved to start out my own, personal website (well, almost…HaHa!)#) Great job. I truly loved what you needed to point out, and much more than in which, the way you introduced this. Also great!
