Last week, I ventured outside of official city limits (I normally have an aversion to leaving the city for “The Suburbs“) to profile one of my favorite boutiques in the area – E Street Denim. I’ve been making the Pilgrimage to this shop every few months for several years now, and I’m never disappointed. E Street has an amazing variety of cool brands and their massive range of denim brands alone is out of control!

Lauren, E Street’s Assistant Merchandising Manager, showed me around the store, helped me pull the pieces for this shoot, and told me a little bit about the boutique’s history: E Street’s been around since 1990, when it started as a small storefront in Highland Park, IL. It has since grown into a small fashion empire with four fashion locations and one home decor store in the greater Chicago area. The owners are local and they love to supply the community with fresh & of-the-moment fashion.

So, if you’re local (or visiting) and haven’t made it over to E Street – go!! As you can see, they have a crazy variety of beautiful things – and if you’re still looking for gifts, this is the place to find them. Lauren told me that an E-Commerce site is under way, but until then I’ll have to continue my Seasonal Pilgrimage out of the city. Thanks Lauren & E Street for welcoming me with open arms!
